About Me
And The Games That
Helped Inspire Me
What's with the video game references?
I've always had an interest in video games (that's probably a generous way to put that - my parents' might use a different)
I created this site to share the projects I've been working on throughout my professional career. This site itself has served as a fun playground for my to test out the limits of web development and my own skills, so check out all that I have to offer!
The Games.

Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. was my first real trip into the world of video games (in combination with Duck Hunt, obviously). I still have nightmares of endless Cheep Cheep barrages and World 6-3...

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
This is one of my favorite games of all time. The eerie story. The creepy visuals. The INCREDIBLE soundtrack. It gave me chills in all the right places and I loved it. Sure, it's a lot of the same assets as Ocarina of Time. But I didn't know that when I got it, and I didn't care when I found out.

Minecraft
"Here's a bunch of cubes. Go build something. Or don't. Whatever." This was basically "LEGOs - The Video Game" before LEGO actually had a LEGO video game made. There was no story. There was no directive. You were - quite literally - dropped into a randomly generated world where you could either scavenge for supplies in survival mode, or go into creative and just build whatever you wanted. I built a 1:1 model of a NASA Orbiter. Because of course I did.

Portal
Slightly behind the times on this one, I found out about Portal my Freshman year of college (2010, only 3 years late, to be fair). I walked into one of the common areas and someone was playing it up on the big TV in the room. This game BLEW MY MIND.
